With Mothers Day approaching us at lightening pace (May 8th folks!), we thought we’d share some of the amazing goodies you could get for your Mum (or Mum’s, things you could very blatantly put under the partner’s/children’s noses to drop not so subtle hints).
Today we’re starting with some beautiful modern trending pieces, so let’s dive in!
This amazing limited edition fine art giclee print is taken from Brenda’s original acrylic painting, then printed on cotton rag or unstretched canvas (depending on what size you select) using archival inks. The bright and vivid colours would make an empty wall come alive!
Natascha makes the most gorgeous jewellery and homewares using resin, wood and native seeds. Here she’s created this necklace by making her own patina-ed brass and copper discs, then placing them on top of a textured piece of copper which has then been covered in clear resin. The result is this beautiful rainbow of colour that can be dressed up or down.
Melinda is a very talented lady, she creates gorgeous photography and digital art prints, greeting cards and also these beautiful chopping boards! I’m loving her Scandi inspired board, the varying shades of blue are so eyecatching and it would make the perfect board to be used for a social gathering of family and friends!
If your Mum is a fan of creating shelfies, or just loves cute storage, then this Hexagon shelf made by Rachel could be the perfect gift for her! Created with Victorian Ash, this lovely little box has a copper edge, but is also available in several other colours (and custom requests are welcomed if your Mum’s favourite colour isn’t there).
Lastly, this gorgeous bright pair of earrings from Sophie would make the perfect little add on gift for the modern Mum. Available in a red, yellow or green, their simple design would finish off any outfit!
